T2 Partridge Prawn and Shrimp Needles

These shrimp / prawn pins were reintroduced in 1982 and are very popular with salmon anglers using shrimp and prawn baits. They are fished into the shrimp / prawn to hold it straight and the nylon is passed through the eye of the pin which protrudes below the shrimp / prawn's tail.

For fly anglers, they make great extended body shanks for nymphs.
