Guideline Olive Flash Flies
Olive Flash is a generic Mayfly pattern that can imitate many species in families like Ephemerella, Baetidae and others. It is the rib of pearl crystal flash that makes this fly special. When its low light, colours don't mean that much. By adding the rib, there is increased visibility and further attraction to the pattern. This fly has proven to be very good during heavy hatches when the fish pick random flies. Rain, clouded and evening fishing..... Try this on!
Floatant tip - You can use regular gel floatant on tail, body and hackle. On the Wings of CDC you can use CDC oil, CDC gel or Tiemco Dry Magic in very small portions. After fishing, wash the fly, dry with Amodou and use Dry Shake or Dry Shake Brush to revitalize the fly.
